Frozen shoulder is also known as adhesive capsulitis is a common condition characterized by stiffness and pain in shoulder joints.
Its onset of symptoms is gradual, gets worse, and finally goes away
Your shoulder is made up of three bones that form a ball and socket joint. they are your humerus (upper arm), scapula (shoulder blade), and collar bone (clavicle). There is a tissue surrounding your shoulder joint that holds everything together. This is called the shoulder capsule. In a frozen shoulder, the capsule becomes thick and tight that it’s hard to move and the loss of synovial fluid around the joint makes the joint difficult to move.
